Make-up Studio has two types of shaping palettes in its assortment, each in two colours:

  • Face Shaping Box Face-It Light (including the Banana Concealer)
  • Face Shaping Box Face-It Dark (including the Banana Concealer)
  • Face Shaping Box Powder Light
  • Face Shaping Box Powder Dark

Tip:
Use the Banana Concealer on irregularities before you start to shape. This concealer lets all irregularities vanish into thin air! In addition, it is perfect for getting rid of dark circles under the eyes, which is why the Banana Concealer was also chosen as a highlight colour in our Face Shaping Box.

Shapen techniek, tips & tricks

Use:
You have read the terms ‘contouring’ and ‘highlighting’ elsewhere in this article. Contouring is the term for designing something using shadow. Highlighting stands for focusing on something. By using these techniques, you can shape the face.

  1. Start with applying day cream and possibly Banana Concealer.
  2. After this base, start highlighting the parts of the face you want to. Look in your Face Shaping Box which colours are lighter than your own skin tone. Use these colours for highlighting. Use the smaller brush for small areas like the bridge of the nose, under the eyebrow and on the chin. For larger areas, use the larger brush, like on cheekbones, under the eyes and on the forehead. After this, contour with the darker colours.
  3. Use a colour two tones darker than your own skin to contour on the forehead, the chin and the jawline. Use a colour four tones darker to contour under the cheekbone. Use the previously indicated brushes for this.
  4. Then blend all colours with the right brush or the Perfect Blending Sponge.
  5. As soon as all colours blend evenly, powder the make-up with transparent powder. This ensures that the make-up mattifies and stays put for longer. Apply blusher for the finishing touch, et voilá! Your perfect base is ready!

Tip:
Use Banana Powder to powder the face. This transparent powder is a must-have for any beauty addict! Apart from its mattifying and fixing properties, this powder also reduces the visibility of pores and irregularities. For dark skin the Banana Powder cannot only be used as finishing powder but also works wonders as a highlight for, for instance, cheekbones and under the eyes.
